Key marketing dates for 2027: UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand
The dates that sneak up on you are the ones you miss. Mother’s Day lands, and you think, “Oh! I should have done something for that.” So here are the key marketing dates for 2027, all in one place, for wherever your customers are.
I’ve grouped them by country, because Mother’s Day in the UK and Mother’s Day in the USA are two MONTHS apart (and yes, I’ve been caught out by that one).

Before you print anything: public holidays are set by each government and can change. I’ve checked every date below, but it’s always worth a quick look at the official list for your country before you print a price on a flyer!

How to actually USE these dates
A list of dates is only useful if it turns into marketing. Here’s how I do it:
- Pick three or four, not all of them. Which dates do your customers care about? A florist needs Mother’s Day. A business coach probably doesn’t. Choose the dates that fit, and ignore the rest without guilt.
- Plan backwards. For each date, count back four to six weeks. That’s when you start talking about it. The week before is too late for anything people need to post, order or book.
- Write it where you’ll see it. Put the date AND the “start talking about it” date in your planner. If it’s in your head, it isn’t a plan.
- Watch the clock changes. If you run live sessions with people overseas, the weeks between the US and UK clock changes (14 to 28 March, and 31 October to 7 November in 2027) are when everyone turns up an hour early or late!
